New Jersey, nor anyone else has seen a female basketball player on the court of this size … ever. Marvadene “Bubbles” Anderson is a recent addition to the U.S. as well as the Rutgers Prep team in Somerset, NJ. She towers over the high school sophomores and everyone else at 6’11” and is still growing. She weighs 210lbs and wears a size 12 shoe.
Anderson is from Jamaica and according to the New York Post, she won a scholarship to Rutgers Prep and has been flourishing in the school’s program as well as with the person who discovered her talent, Enid Angus.
She has been learning basketball rules on the court even though in her native country of Jamaica she was the highest scoring “netball” player. She also has an older sister that is 6’4″ and they used to refer to them as the twin towers.
