2008 블리즈컨(Blizzcon 2008)에서 펼쳐진 와우 (월드 오브 워크래프트(World Of Warcraft))의 영상 콘테스트 시상식이 있었다.

와우는 이미 다양한 감정표현을 이용한 유저들이 만드는 UGC(UCC) 영상들이 하루에도 굉장히 많은 수가 만들졌었으며, 올해 펼쳐지는 블리자드 콘테스트(Blizzcon)에서는 통해서 테마별 최고의 영상들을 시상하였고, 수많은 작품들중에 9가지의 작품만이 본선에 진출하였고, 그중 3가지의 작품만이 최고의 작품으로 인정받는 영광을 안게 되었다.
